E-commerce Production Associate
Location: 207 West Hastings St, Vancouver, BC (In-Person – Gastown Studio)
Employment Type: Part-time contract (20-25 hours/week)
Pay: $18/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview
The E-commerce Production Associate will work closely with the General Manager and Founder to execute the daily production and fulfillment of planner inserts and stationery. From hole-punching and assembling to packing and shipping, you’ll ensure that every product leaving our Gastown studio meets The Line’s quality and brand standards. This is a physically active, craft-focused role ideal for someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys working with their hands.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and hole-punch planner inserts and stationery sets for packaging.

Assemble and pack physical products for customer orders.

Maintain a tidy and organized studio workspace.

Support with inventory counts and restocking materials.

Assist with receiving shipments and managing supply inventory.

Follow established production and packaging SOPs.

Flag any quality issues or low stock to the management team.
Qualifications
-
Comfortable with hands-on, repetitive tasks requiring precision.

Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team.

Experience in a production, fulfillment, or print studio environment is a plus.

Able to lift and move boxes and supplies (up to 30 lbs).

Comfortable working in-person in our Gastown studio 3–5 days/week.

Position Overview
The Line is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, drive growth, and ensure seamless execution across all areas of the business. Acting as the right hand to the Founder, the Operations Manager will manage operations, customer experience, and vendor relationships while also leading initiatives that expand The Line’s presence in the stationery and planner market.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations

Oversee daily operations including order fulfillment, vendor management, and customer service.

Streamline workflows and create clear documentation for in-studio processes.

Manage and maintain accurate inventory in both the studio and Shopify.
Team Leadership

Train and onboard new team members on in-studio processes.

Set clear goals, track performance, and foster a collaborative, creative culture.
Customer Experience

Oversee customer service, ensuring timely and empathetic responses in The Line’s brand voice.

Build and maintain an FAQ resource to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.

Implement processes that elevate the client experience from purchase to delivery.

Respond to customer emails promptly and resolve issues to maintain customer loyalty.
Qualifications

Proven experience in operations, business management, or a similar leadership role.

Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience strongly preferred).

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Customer service experience and managing a small team is an asset.
